Peer Support Specialist Part Time A Peer Support Person is someone with real life experience with disabilities, mental illness or substance abuse. To work with clients to help them develop identified life skills and accomplish goals outlined in a service plan. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. CPR certified Exercise excellent communication skills demonstrating empathy, assertiveness, active listening; demonstrate the ability to negotiate conflict and good problem solving abilities. Our dedicated staff have been working diligently to reimagine support groups, therapy, food service, supported living services, emergency responses, community work, school based work, medication support, and more.
